The neck and thorax splint consists of:
- A semi-rigid corset (height wise) formed from a chest band (corset) connected to a head band. The corset is equipped with a reinforcement band in its lower part to avoid premature wear. The system complies with Standard EN 1021-1 (flammability).
- 3 numerically (1,2,3) and colour code indexed (yellow, red, green) chest straps to help fixation order.
- 2 numerically (4,5) and colour coded (blue) thigh straps to help fixation order.
- 3 comfortable (cushioned), anatomical carrying handles equipped with reflecting strip to help localising at night time. 2 handles on the right and left of the corset and 1 handle on the head band at the nape of the neck.
- A three part head cushion with self-adhering trip fixation offering ideal compatible between the splint and the patient’s anatomy.
- 2 head securing straps for forehead and chin. 1 forehead strap made of coated PVC (easy to disinfect) and 1 ergonomic chin support.
- A storage and carrying bag opening completely allowing use as a ground sheet with ergonomic carrying handle
