The robust, silent and high-performance LSU 4000 electrical suction unit is a multi-purpose standalone device with 12 V rechargeable battery, replaceable without tools, providing power for 60 minutes. It features a battery charge indicator, start-up indicator, external power supply indicator, fault indicator and suction power bar graph graduated from 50 mmHg (paediatric suction) to 550 mmHg (adult suction). These data are displayed on electroluminescent diodes (LEDs). The vacuum level is set using a single button with 5 presettings of the most commonly used values.
